Guest guest
I called a compounding pharmacy about this issue. They certainly can do the compound, either capsules or liquid. It would be expensive, roughly a dollar a capsule. However, the pharmacist felt that if I can talk her doctor into writing a prescription for tylanol compounded without the gluten, medicaid would have to cover it. I will be exploring this further tomorrow and will let you know what I find; I don't have a dan doctor, but I think that my gp or my gastrointerologist will probably be willing to do it. Hope this encourages anybody out there like me that needs something to give for pain and can't afford the cost of compounded meds.
