Guest guest
At about 2 weeks post op my doctor said I could eat stuff like spaghetti that the noodles were soft enough but not to eat like pasta shells cause they were a little tougher. When he took the spliny out he told me I could now graduate to more solid foods but I wasnt exactly sure to ask what the definition of that was. I think I was still too distracted by my horror with my splint. Im just not sure about the breadsticks maybe if I dip them in soup. I know that I could probably eat them but I'm just so scared of food now when I used to be so in love with food haha. fiddlesticks220002 <no_reply > wrote: Chewy or hard is not soft food. I was at my brother-in-law's about 3 or 4 weeks post-op and they were nasty enough to put out party mix (pretzels, peanuts, etc) in front of me. I couldn't stand it since I love pretzels so I took a pretzel stick and sucked on it until it turned to mush. I wouldn't recommend it out in public since it might take you half the meal, but it's one way of getting what you crave (in my case, salt, so crackers and pretzels are a definite weakness). > > Do you think olive garden breadsticks are considered soft food?
