Guest guest Posted July 29, 2003 Report Share Posted July 29, 2003 hi everyone, just joined and wanted to introduce myself! i am 13 years post op. i had what was called a BPD or a long limb gastric bypass in 1980. I was 250 down to 125 and then settled around 140. i have maintained that weight since then. i'm married 23 years to a wonderful man, have a 20 year old daughter, 2 dogs, 5 cats, and 2 parrots. i am a professional volunteer for hospice, do pet therapy with my dogs and am heavily involved in sweet adelines. i'm looking forward to getting to know everyone! peace, phyl Never quit.
