is 135 your weight now before the surgery, thats only 40 lbs over what your doc

says you should weight, i understood that you had to be over 100lbs overweight

and have a bmi of 40 or more and mobilities, i almost did not get my surgery

because i am 243 and 5'4 " and i have high blood pressure and high cholesterol

and arthritis of my knee had surgery on knee in sept, and if i had not told the

doc i was now diabetic i probably would not be getting the surgery now

40 lbs wow i could loose that on my own don't know if i would be able to keep

it off but i sure would try before having surgery-- anyway good luck and i hope

everything goes well for you Shirley of Fontana ca

Hi, My name is Kim and this is my first post. I am scheduled for

roux n y gastric bypass on July 19th. I am more nervouse than I

admit to my friends and family. I am barely 5 feet and I weigh 135

lbs. I amj 33 years old and the mother of 3 children. Kameron is

12, Zachary is 9 and Journee is 4. My husband is totally supportive

of me here. Can anyone please tell me what to expect after surgery

and how fast did you lose the weight? My doc says that my ideal

weight is 95 lbs, but he sees me getting to about 110. I am so

excited about that because when I married, I weight 96 lbs.

> typo, I weigh 235. sorry

Thank you for reposting. I was about to cry! Good luck with the

surgery. I wasn't nervous until I was in pre-op. Then I thought how

difficult it would be to pull out my heplock and go running for the

exits! I only had to wait for the relaxants to kick in, and I woke up

in my room. I am sure you will do just fine. Janet
