Andy, Legumes are generally considered somewhat advanced. However, the Pecanbread stages are only a guideline. They didn't exist when I started SCD. So what you add when depends on (a) what you want to eat that's legal and ( whether or not YOU react to them. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund

Not really so helpful for yeast, as peas are very high in sugar. Also, very hard to digest, IME. Mara
Guest guest
Andy,You poor thing! I hope the awful die off and other symptoms go away quickly. Since you have been away for a bit, did you see my savory Indian muffin recipe/experiment I posted? It doesn't have too many eggs and no honey at all.AmeliaTo: BTVC-SCD Sent: Sat, February 6, 2010 6:17:21 PMSubject: Bread/muffin Have never made one before. I would like to make bread or muffin, possibly with almond flour. I digest almond milk alright. Very little eggs. No honey. Is there a recipe that someone could share, along with dos or don'ts in the process. Also, how many bread slices or muffins can I have in a day? Thanks, Andy. PS: Its been only 2.5 months on the diet and I am on Stage 3 (pecan bread). Are Lara bars ok?
