TT costs

Hey buds,

Can someone please, please give me some feedback on what to expect re

TT costs? I know it varies everywhere, but would like to get a ball

park idea. I have a choice of keeping my insurance via COBRA at

$835/mo, but UHC will probably only cover the panni part, if any. I

suspect I would be better to find a cheaper insurance just to cover

catastrophic illness (no outstanding problems in the family now) and

just pay cash for the TT, if I can afford it.

I know there is a OSSG PS sight, but many of you have had TT in the

past year, so I want to pick your brains here. Wouldn't mind knowing

about other procedures also. In a perfect world I would also have a

breast lift and have my arms and thighs done. enstein's bride!!!

LOL

Thanks much.

The surgeon's fee for my extended Abdominoplasty was $5,500. That

does not include any hospital fees.

Ok, here goes...

abdominoplasty $6000

breast reduction $5800

turkey wattle removal $1800

lipo (I did butt and back) $3500

I haven't done these, don't know if I will, but got prices...

Brachioplasty $4800

Thigh lift $7200

Also, my surgeries were done out-patient in a surgical suite, so the

additional costs were...

anesthesiologist (for approximately 3 hours) $1150

hospital (surgical suite) $1200

I had my surgeries done in 2 sessions, and my plastic surgeon, and

I'm sure many others, will discount for multiple procedures, or some

may even do it all at once. And that's all I have. :))

Vicki A..

My TT with hernia repair was about $5,000. (10-25-02) I paid out of pocket, my

lovely HMO wouldn't pay because it was related to my RNY which they also denied.

Worth every penny.

My PS's website is http://www.rejuvenationcenter.com

Way at the bottom of the left-hand panel, there is a link to the

price list for his procedures. The price *estimates* are

all-inclusive:

The following estimates are prices for cosmetic surgical procedures.

These estimates include the surgical fee along with the hospital

fee, which includes anesthesia, operating room and recovery room.

Although insurance generally does not cover the cost of cosmetic

surgery, flexible financing is available. Please remember that these

prices are subject to change, and may vary.
