I'm 15 months post op and have lost more than 170 pounds. I still

suffer from food withdrawal. I have not regained the " hunger "

feeling and therefore spend the majority of my time feeling

satiated. There are pros and cons to this. The pro being there is

never a need for me to eat more than a few bite fulls of anything at

any given time, the cons are many days I have to push myself every

two hours to eat something. Protein is always on the top of my list,

with drinks of water or crystal light in between periods of eating.

There have been a few days that I have become to involved in my

studies or have been out on long shopping excursions and just

totally forgot to eat because I didn't get hungry. Because of this

I've had a few experiences with becoming hypoglocemic and have

started to carry with me at all times a bottle of water and a series

of small healthful snacks in my purse. I hope this helps. If you

want to ask more questions feel free.

Marla :)
