Guest guest
130 calories WITH milk??? Or is that with water. Hard to believe it could be that few calories with milk. I do my shakes " virgin " --with water only. I get 30g protein with GREAT taste for 155 calories mixed with water alone and no other " additives. " Only 1g fat, 6g carbs. There are others out there with even lower calories and carbs, and some total no-fat (I can't stand the taste of any of those, however). Sometimes for variety, I put in a half tsp of different flavor jello powder. And always a TBS of flaxseed meal--which gives body and flavor as well. If I added milk to my shakes, it would be too " calorious " (grin), to say nothing of all the bad sugar (lactose). What is the brand name of this wonderful stuff at GNC? and how many pounds is the 14.99 container? Guest guest
I tried the ground flaxseed in my protein shake, and it wouldn't stay suspended - it all sank to the bottom. What do other people mix their flaxseed with? --- Start weight 365# Lap RnY, Distal - Dr. s Vanderbilt University Hospital Surgery date June 3, 2002 Current weight 210# ----- Original Message ----- > Sometimes for variety, I put > in a half tsp of different flavor jello powder.
