However, please do note that it is the amount spent over 7.5% of AGI. Most people do not have medical expenses this significant, even with a special diet, but some do. This link will give you information on that also. I am going to try making a claim through our Flexible Spending Account through my husband's work. If any of you have a flexible spending account, you might want to give it a try, too. I'll report back and let everyone know whether or not they reimburse us for it.
