Guest guest
* Hi Lolita, LJ has very bad baby teeth, he had a route canal (never knew they did that with aby teeth), has had 4 fiillings and one of his molars had about 3/4 of it break off. I just hope the big teeth are better. LJ was never a soda pop or candy eater, and has been going to a dentist since he was 2. He has been brushing his teeth for years and I brush them for him too. I have no idea why. * On Tue, 28 Aug 2001 10:25:35 -0500 Lolita Cook writes: > > Do any of you, here, feel that there's something causing these teeth > problems, beside candy, pop, going to bed with a bottle? > Lolita ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Guest guest
Don't dental tendencies run in families? I just know I am dreading taking Jane for her first dental visit. I don't know how to get her to allow the dentist to get that close to her and touch her mouth. Janelle
Guest guest
My son is 4 and has had seven cavities. I never had a cavity until I was 42. My husband has had very few cavities also. We are sugar free and have brushed my son regularly since he had teeth. So I'm betting there's some connection between my son's problems and his bad teeth. I'm just so thankful we have a wonderfully kid-friendly dentist who let my son visit her office six times for free " happy visits " and play with the dentist tools and chairs to build up his confidence before she actually began work on his teeth. Guest guest
I asked him about this. My teeth have always been pretty good, but my mother's ... lost all her's before she was 20. He didn't seem to think this was viable. He said for his age, his teeth were the worst he's seen. Hopefully you'll have a dentist who will be understanding and patient! Maybe getting into her mouth shouldn't be the aim with the first visit? Lolita >Don't dental tendencies run in families? I just know I am dreading >taking Jane for her first dental visit. Guest guest
I do know that my mother has had diarrhea all her life. She got very sick with it about 10 years ago. She was finally sent to an allergist who put her on the caveman diet, then rotation diet. She still has diarrhea, but is doing well enough. Her stomach is always bloated. As four all four inheriting it- out of 8 kids, maybe the odds aren't so remote? Lolita >Celiac is an inherited disease. Out of three girls, my two sisters have it >and I tested negative.
