Guest guest
I had upper lower and chin and my surgery was 9 hours. My surgeon told me that just the wiring alone took one hour. It was long, and I was terrified of the anethesia, but, it is over, and I had no clue while it was happening!!! good luck. > > Hi everyone! > I am new to this group.... Guest guest
It seems a bit optomistic. My surgeon who has done this for fifteen years and thats basically all he does took about 3 and a half hours to do a similar surgery on me (upper advance, lower back, palate split). With that said however your OS knows his work best. > > Hi everyone! > I am new to this group.... Guest guest
It all depends on what you need to have done, and indeed, on your surgeon's expertise, skill and speed. If your guy needs 6 hours (or even more), I think you want him to take the time to do the job right! If he's speedy, or your surgery is simpler, so much the better for you! best, Cammie > > Hi everyone! > I am new to this group.... Guest guest
For lots of reasons, I think it's better to have " bones like concrete " than brittle ones. Congratulations. Guest guest
Hi! I am 4 weeks post op for Upper and Lower jaw surgery. My surgery took 1hour and 2 mins. I thought mine was really short too, but you may have a very experienced surgeon. My surgeon books 3 in a day - he was fast and very good. Don't be worried. Good Luck! Cheers, Jen > > Hi everyone! > I am new to this group....
