Guest guest
Sorry I've been out of commission and not on line for the past several weeks. I was at the Med Cntr yesterday getting pain shots in my back and hips. Maybe this will improve the funk I've been in. I've missed you-all. Hope everyone is well.Fight the good fight. Guest guest
, I'm sorry to hear that you are needing so much treatment in the way of pain management. I used to get trigger point injections in my back and spine, so I know what that is like. What meds are you on? Do they have you on prednisone? Anything else? There are so many ways to help with the pain-- but you have to be able to break the cycle first. We'll be visualizing those shots helping. I'll see if I can pull up some previous posts on pain management and such. Guest guest
Tracie, Thank you so much for your continued support. I was on prednisone 100 mg daily for 6 months and it severely compromised my blood vessels, etc. I don't know all the specifics...I just know that my neurologist told me they were killing me, and he didn't want me on them at all. It took me a long time to titrate down off of them, but it left me with horrible pain. I take 2.5 Grams of Cellcept now, to manage inflammation in the spinal cord around the lesions. I have systemic tendonitis, and I would love to take prednisone again just to alleviate some of the pain. Sick, hunh? I have morphine to take, but it sucks (pardon me). It makes me constipated and deathly nauseated. It's almost worse than the pain. I will try the MSM. I sure appreciate all your help. Thank you again, Tracie. Sending you smiles and prayers! Guest guest
For anyone who needs, i found a name of a Neurologist who's a pain specialist through a support group who's very conscious to our pain and what we are going through. He's in NE PA let me know if anyone wants his name. Hi, all. here Sorry I've been out of commission and not on line for the past several weeks.
