I hope you can get the Insurance to approve the surgery before your husbands company switches but BC/BS paid for all but 200.00 of my surgeries. (I ended up having two surgeries done in 3 days because of a collapsed intestine.) I have been hearing that BC/BS is starting to refuse WLS more and more though. I don't know why. Obesity and the comorbidities that come with it costs insurance companies tons of money each year. You would think they would embrace WLS for just that reason. I will never understand the insurance industry as long as I live I'm afraid.
