Guest guest
You know, on Monday I saw the Da Vinci Code, and there was a pre- movie trailer for a movie (starring Cage) about the police and figherfighters who rushed into the towers to save people. Before the trailer, the theater was all abuzz with happy pre-movie chatter. When that trailer came on, there was silence, absolute silence, as the images of that horrible day came onto the big screen. But they were even more personalized as you saw the actors portraying the people who were in and around the towers as the planes hit. The audience is even given the image of the airplane's shadows on the ground as they struck the towers while people on the ground were taken by surprise. I'm not sure if I'll want to see that movie because it might just be too difficult to watch. As it was, I could feel the tears welling up in just those few minutes. And regarding the Viet Nam Memorial in DC. Oh my God, I was sooo surprised by my reaction. I knew it would be a solemn, but as I entered the space, I was not expecting the impact to be so emotional. Then I began to see the flowers and love notes and pictures left behind. Even a pair of army boots. I saw people using paper to rub their family member's names as a keepsake. I was moved to tears. Then, when you turn around and see the tribute to the miliatry nurses (the one with the dying soldier in her arms)... wow, it was just so unexpected, so incredibly powerful. I mean even walking into the Lincoln memorial and reading his words had me in tears. Anyway, I'm just rambling... Francisco OMG Robynn!! I think its wonderful you are trying for a child!!!! > You would make a great mom!!
