Nutricology's S Boulardii question

I started this brand last week and have felt much better. It is more potent than

the SCD GI Prohealth version. Nutricology S Boulardii lists hydroxpropyl,

methylcellulose, cellulose and magnesium stearate as " other ingredients " . Are

these legal?

Thanks

.

So far as I know -- and it better be legal, since I'm using it! LOL!

Methyl cellulose, cellulose, and magnesium stearate are all legal; I had

to look up the hydroxypropyl, and it's yet another form of cellulose, so

yes, it's OK.

Thanks Marilyn

If you are using this brand that is all the endorsement I need!

I had been buying this at Vitamin Shoppe to try it out but have seen online suppliers selling the 50 quantity jars for $6 and change.

This brand of S Boulardii combined with 6 months on the diet (Feb 6) has been a big breakthrough for me.

I am also staying on the Apriso and Prednisone and will taper off very slowly this time. Part of my problem is I would feel better on SCD and then taper off medications, Then a few weeks later I get a flare up.

I have also started the yogurt again (Goats Milk dripped) last week. Just a tablespoon a day and am having no reaction to that.

I am sure I will have more bumps in the road(after 30 plus years of CD) but lately this is the healthiest I have felt in two years. I am more used to the diet after 6 months and if things continue to improve I will try more SCD foods such as using ALmond Flour to make some baked goods that I really crave.

Thanks again for all the encouragement I get from this board.

Debbie, Vitamin Shoppe is a good place to try this out. But their pricing is $18

a bottle and it can be bought online for about $6 a bottle.
