Guest guest
I definately found the jaw wraps useful, I didn't get any from the hospital and you get the gel packs that can be used for ice and heat with the jaw wrap. Since I am wired shut I found that the zip-n-squeeze bags are a life savior. I also got the book The Healing Jaw which has a lot of very good liquid recipes that are delicious, if you are going to be unable to eat solid or mushy food for a few weeks, I reccomend you get the book. The book also gives you tips on hospital stay and being home, it's very useful. Hope this was helpful, Jo In a message dated 1/25/2005 10:58:49 PM Eastern Standard Time, rakushka@... writes: Good evening, everyone. My surgery is less than a month away, and I am beginning to put together a list of everything that I might find useful after I come home from the hospital. I am thinking of buying a jaw wrap from zip-n-squeeze web site. Did you find it useful? Where you given something similar in the hospital, so that buying one wouldn't make sense? Also, do you have to buy separate cooling elements for it? If yes, which ones did you buy? I also want to buy a body pillow or some sort of special pillow to help me sleep in a semi-reclined position. I've found a few on the internet, but if you bought something similar, and have advice for me, I'd appreciate it. Thanks, guys. Irene.
