Guest guest
Yep. I think one needs to be careful about iron supplements, unless there's a reason to be taking them --- as in a diagnosed need, pregnancy, etc. They can cause swelling and be toxic (with itches, etc.) if you have enough iron without them. Of course, if you're anemic, have lost a lot of blood lately (through regular feminine processes, e.g. -- sorry, guys) or a big head wound or something similar, you may well be in a different circumstance. Guest guest
I was specifically told by my doctor to take the iron supplements in preparation for the surgery where you uhmmm...do lose some blood I take it. Also, he recommended Ferro Sequels because they avoid the constipation problem which unfortunately I am very familiar with. My mother is anemic and has had to take iron supplements for many years, as did I when I was younger. Yep, some of these iron supplements can be real buggers. The best ones I ever found and most easily absorbable ones were from Switzerland. S > > I had also started taking iron suppliments about 2 weeks before I > had > > my surgery.
