We are also getting to that point. Someone had told me baby gap had snaps

on the bigger sizes. Also I found some at Babies r Us recently. If I find

more I'll post again.

Clothing for Bar/Dr. Ponseti

Hello Everyone,

We are newcomers to the site, but not to clubfeet. I have a 7-month-

old daughter (bilateral atypical) who was treated unsuccessfully by a

Ponseti certified doctor, and has been seeing Dr. Ponseti since the

beginning of November. He is a WONDRFUL doctor, and I encourage anyone

who's on the fence about whether or not they should see him, to

definitely do so! I wish it had dawned on us to see him months before

we did.

My daughter has been in the bar for a little over a month, and I'm

wondering if anyone has any advice on clothing for the FAB over 12

months of age (she's quite the chunker). :) It's becoming

increasingly harder to find clothes that snap on the inside of the

legs, just curious if anyone has and advice on brands or stores that

may carry this type of clothing.

We'd also like to thank you all very much for diligently spreading the

word of Dr. Ponseti and his method via the internet!

I have a son, and I realize you probably dress your daughter a little

differently (ha) - but for pajamas I have always used the blanket

jammies...those one piece fuzzy things with a zipper from one foot up to the

neck line. I just cut the feet off. For diaper changes I peel it down off the

shoulders.

But I also use regular pants, - pajama or other wise as needed, pulling them

down for diaper changes.

Some have used tights on their daughters, under dresses to keep legs warm.

Again, just pull down rather than unsnap.

good luck and glad you're on the right road to treatment now.
