Guest guest
If they found out the testing was for WLS they either tried to talk me out of it or made sure I knew how totally it would not work. ******************************************************** Oh , I can so totally relate! (ok I was a valley girl a looooong time ago!) I am an RN, and the women I work with always are trying to talk about how " awful " wls is etc. They all know someone who had it and did terrible, yada yada yada. I try to explain the difference between the RNY that their friend had and the DS and usually get a blank look. Ugg and these are supposed to be educated people. At least the girls up on the 5th floor at Kennestone--where I used to work--know Dr. , and the WLS, and the patients by now, and know what to expect, and dont try to talk me out of it, or tell me to " just " diet, or " its too drastic a measure to have surgery " . Hmph! Like they have to live in this 380 pound body, doing 12 hour shifts. Sorry to have rambled on so long, but sometimes the attitudes just get to me. =) (º·.¸(¨*·.¸ ¸.·*¨)¸.·º) «.·°· * Ru *.·°·.» (¸.·º(¸.·¨ * *¨·.¸)º·.¸) Web page: http://home.earthlink.net/~nurseru/index.html Web page: http://profiles.yahoo.com/rumerybast ~~ Walking in the PawPrints of Bast, Listening to the Wisdom in Her Purr~~
