Guest guest
Hi, I just got off the phone with Ann. The cost for the 3 procedures denied will be $4387 plus my $500 co-pay for approved portion. So I will be out about $5K. I understand the denial of the appendectomy (arguable necessity) and the partial gastrectomy (they don't support the DS). But I really don't understand their rejection of " insertion of tube into jejernum " . That will cost me $1643 extra. Has anybody ever had that part rejected?
