I know that there are the SCD legal probiotics in pill form; however, I've never been fond of ordering over the internet. Also, I will look for probiotics that don't have fos but with bifidus and see what happens then. Elaine refers to breast-fed babies. I was not breast-fed, so did I not have the bifidus to begin with? In fact, I was on antibiotics when I was four weeks old. I wish I knew if that could make a difference in my gut now, but I wish someone would do research of gut flora on non-breast-fed babies. I would think that there are a good number of us. Whether or not I stick to this diet 100% (to include bifidus or not), it has been enlightening. Thanks for your reply. This damage is going to take time to repair. If you aren’t liking or tolerating the yogurt (and I can’t touch yogurt) then I’d use either a legal L. Acidophilus or give S. Boulardii a try. These two microorganisms have proven to be community-minded, and the legal forms won’t have illegals which can cause more damage. Then, just stick to SCD 100% for a while. You should find that a lot of your symptoms will disappear as your gut ecology stabilizes. Kim M. The SCD-legal yogurt doesn't give me that "medicinal effect" as someone else on here put it. Could it just be that this would work better for me but not someone else?So, can someone help me to understand better why I'm not supposed to be using this?
