Guest guest
Hi , Thanks you for your support. Every time I think there is something wrong the doctor says everything is fine and then when I think everything is fine they tell me something bad.... Re: what are the odds? I wanted to add that the one tendon surgery that was a 100% failure for me (I had it either 2 or 3 times) was when they split the tendon and moved half of the tendon to another location. That one surgery is responsible for the high number of surgeries I have had. No one on any of the clubfoot sites has mentioned this surgery (I hope it is not done anymore). If this is mentioned for your child,......run for another opinion.--- > > > > Hi, > > > > > > > > Me again! We saw Dr. Herzenberg today. Guest guest
Hi Michele, Congratulations to collin on getting that cast off! How is he feeling now? Is he able to walk? Dr. H said that he will make the decision on the tendon transfer after Christian turns 2. When we go in March he will be 2years and 2 months. Is that really young? Re: what are the odds? Collin, had his calf muscle (or tendon) split in half and moved when a baby to try to lengthen his achiles tendon and that is why he has had so many problems since. They did this to him at 8 weeks old before we knew there were options, etc. If that never happened his foot would probably be fine today also. Michele Collin's story at http://www.geocities.com/chele323232 > > > > > > Hi, > > > > > > > > > > > > Me again! We saw Dr. Herzenberg today. Guest guest
Hi . Did Dr. H give any ideas on how to get Christian to use that part of the foot more and put more pressure on it? Please don't get too worried yet. Do the recommended exercises religiously, and maybe that will be enough to help out the situation. I am feeling for you. Everyone wants to hear how great their little ones feet look at their check-ups. I am keeping my fingers crossed that everything will turn out okay. Gerace wrote: Hi, Me again! Guest guest
Hi , He gave me some exercises to do with Christian who is very unwilling to cooperate. Nonetheless, I will continue trying. How is your new house? How are the kids? Re: what are the odds? Hi . Did Dr. H give any ideas on how to get Christian to use that part of the foot more and put more pressure on it?
