There are several rice milk recipes, but the easiest

one that I use is as follows:

1 cup cooked rice

4 cups hot water

Blend in blender for 5 minutes, the let sit for at

least 30 hour...longer if you can. Then, pour off the

top 3 1/2- 4 cups of liquid, dump the sediment on the

bottom of the mixer, the repour the milk mixture back

into the blender. Now, you can add calcium

supplements, if you want(I use NuThera Everyday

Companion from Kirkman), some mild-tasting oil like

canola or sunflower(1tsp-1tbsp)for some fat

content(more like whole milk), sweeten it with

stevia(my choice) sugar or honey. Some folks add

vanilla, too. This 'milk' works well in recipes, like

tapioca or rice pudding.

Have fun,

Deborah
