Guest guest
I also was given a bit of a hard time getting CF ADEKs. They made Dr Ren call and fax the script. I had to order a 6 month supply and only given a 6 month refill. I hope they don't cut us off. Sharon M in NY --- dreamweavergirlus@... wrote: > Actually I did speak to a rep about this. Guest guest
> I'm seriously beginning to consider the vitaforlife stuff.. Hi : I was wondering if you ever did order the vitaforlife? Do we still need to take the Niferex-Forte with these? What about the adeks. I am so confused what these all include. I know I was taking the A & D from Twinlabs for a while because Dr. Hess recommended that over the Adeks, but when my common channel went down to 50, I started with the Adeks again as I was scared and didn't want Dr. Gagner to know I was doing that. Would you please let me know what you know about these. Thanks , Patti

What about the adeks>>> No, if you take vita4life you get all the vitamins and minerals you need, I take them and had to cut down from 12 to 6 and then take 6 citrical to make up for the other 6.....I was getting too high in iron and other vitamins which is why I cut down to 6. I still take one ADEK per day though before I go to bed. Judie

Guest guest
Patti, the vita4life is geared towards the RNY patient and the distal patient is advised to take all 12 capsules per day....well, I discovered its way too much for us DSers so I cut down to 6 and then supplemented with 6 calcium citrate or Bone Up which is a superior calcium formula with microcrystalline hydroxapatite which is even more absorbable than just the calcium citrate! And it really helps the arthritis in my knees. Then I take one ADEK before bedtime just as a precaution....... Judie
