Guest guest
Hello everyone. I just wanted to say good morning and that I am 5 days away to being on the other side. This morning I go to the doc for my family visit and my pre-op is tomorrow. I am feeling a little depressed the last 2 days but I think it is because I am scared and nervous and lonely. WE have only been here for 4 months and I really want my family at a time like this. My sister has no time off however and my mom just had heart surgery last month so that leaves everyone out. Hubby is in an Air Force class that he cannot miss so I am " on my own " . I have met some great people here, don't get me wrong but I think you all know how much family really means at a time like this. Especially when they have all been so supportive of me. Oh well, enough of a pity party for me. Wish me luck and please keep me in your prayers. Good luck to anyone else coming up on surgery. I know it is the right choice for me!!! Guest guest
My thoughts are with you Tina. I wish you a speedy uneventful recovery from surgery and am happy for you that you will soon be a " loser " ! I am sure your family will be with you in spirit and would probably be there with you in person if they could be. Take comfort in knowing there are many of us out here rooting for you.
