Guest guest
Hi Connie, Thanks for letting us know about that new baby. He will do fine! My latest grandchild was born 23 months ago and was a preemie, only weighing 4 lbs. She is still very tiny and always will be since she is tiny boned. She is doing good and is really, really, smart. We think she is extremely gifted, as does her Doctor and daycare person. I was so afraid she would be "behind" as they say it is hard for a preemie to "catch up", but that is not the case with her. As for the cord problem............my second daughter was born breech with both ends of the cord coming first.... she was almost blue and she also had the cord wrapped around her neck for a while and she is GREAT today. She never had any problems from it. Just watch that little doll closely and love him to pieces! :-) Grandchildren are God's gifts to parents! He wasn't due until 9/19/09, but God was so good. No one know that he had the cord wrapped so tight around his neck, they had to stop the birth, try and get their fingers under it where they could cut it. It had stretched so tight, it was about half the size it should be, and he was so limp his shoulders had drooped back. He was unconscious and grey, but they had a great team, and he is doing great. He would have been huge had he been term, as early as he was he weighed 5 lbs 12 oz and was 19 inches long - 2 weeks later he gained all his weight back plus some. He's 6 lbs and
Guest guest
Thanks so much Darlene, I needed the encouraging words. He is so small and so quiet compared to how his sister was; even though she was premie too. I know no two babies are alike, but sometimes he just seems so frail. I know with prayer and time he will be alright. He has cardiac testing this coming Wednesday, because of a posterior murmur. I'm praying for good news. He is my little sweetheart. Take care, and thanks again, connie Subject: Re: Hello, (Connie)To: Neurosarcoidosis Date: Saturday, September 5, 2009, 6:58 PM Hi Connie, Thanks for letting us know about that new baby.
