Guest guest
Tracie I was a young mother & young grandmother so we might as well go for the grand slam! It's good to be back too. It's going to be a rough road ahead but I'm in my mental battle gear! I imagine there will be a ton of Medicare filing & denying before we get to the drug company. If I get over to the medicaid office like the financial aid person suggested before the remicade was mentioned I KNOW I will meet the Spend Down for the year. Dr Baughman said they should know after 4 months or so of treatment whether it will work or not. He mentioned some other drug also but I don't remember what it was...........Seems like it started with a T? That wouldn't even be an issue until the end of the year. The good news is they are weaning back from 20 to 15 on pred so maybe I'll get my more normal, less Hooty the Hoot Owl face back! I'd like to dye my hair it's gotten so gray but I don't really like the idea of those chemicals and the chunk of skull I am missing on the top of my head. I remember a long time ago I got a can of henna and it was like putting a cow pile in your hair! What a mess!Join our Sock Challenge for Orphans in Kazakhstan http://groups. yahoo.com/ group/Mittens_ for_Akkol/ grannylunatic@... I was just wondering,, we are what over 500 strong and there is only a handful of us who keep intouch. That makes me wonder if so many of us are that are part of this group do not find the support that they need?? or so many of us are just so ill that we can't keep intouch. what do you think? I hope its that your in remission and don't need our support right now.. that is what i am hoping for. I hope everyone is having a painfree day Many Blessings A. Save money by eating out! Guest guest
I don't know if it was the fingernail or choking up at the "great" grandma part! My sisters 3 yo & 1 yo red headed granddaughters have just started arguing recently. The youngest one doesn't say "no" real plain yet and it comes out more like "nuh". She promised to call me if they have a tussle at Nana's tonight. I told her to leave it on voice mail if I am sleeping because I haven't heard it yet. She can say NANA plain as day, She knows who has the cookie jar!Join our Sock Challenge for Orphans in Kazakhstan http://groups. yahoo.com/ group/Mittens_ for_Akkol/ grannylunatic@... Guest guest
I had forgotten all about them! This past year they've turned that building into a bar/restaurant. I believe it was a store on the first floor to begin with. The gypsy in my soul wants to move on again. LOL I sure don't stay put for long or I'm too quick to sign that lease. The ramp here is a little steep for my walker & I've kissed the cement a few times. I'm looking for something bigger because my brother may come to stay with me. He's a big help and we get along good.Join our Sock Challenge for Orphans in Kazakhstan http://groups. yahoo.com/ group/Mittens_ for_Akkol/ grannylunatic@...
