If meds cover up food reactions, do you re-start everytime you flare?

I'm going to assume once I get better that the meds i'm on will be covering up any adverse food reaction. So, after I get all healed up for a period of time, lets say 1 month with no issues at a certian dose of medicine. Then I taper down a little, and so on and so fourth. At some point i'm sure to have a reaction. Maybe blood, maybe gas, maybe D, whatever. What then? Do you stay at that dose of meds and go back to intro for a few days then start introducing foods one at a time again?Do you have to do this everytime you get a reaction to see if the foods you tolerate are now different at different doses of meds? Or, do you stay on a higher dose of meds that you're comfortable on (no steroids) and keep intoducing new foods one at a time? Then after a few years try and taper off the meds?-UC - 1+ yearsSCD - 8 months 100% strict and 4 months restricted diet.Asacol - 12 pills a day Prednisone 40mg entocort With vit E mixed inBack to intro/stage 1 for now.
