Guest guest
lolita- thanks so much for the warm welcome and for the wal-mart list. i have a dumb question to ask- i was reading thru some of the older posts and was wondering what was the concern about non-food items like soaps, shampoos, and glue sticks being gfcf? are parents concerned that their child might accidentally consume these products? Guest guest
There is more of a concern about the item being absorbed through the skin. Many things are absorbed through the skin, and since some children are obviously affected by non-food items then it seems reasonable that all our children are being affected one way or another by gluten/casein through the skin. Check the gfcfdiet.com site for more information on this- here's a link to the hygiene section http://gfcfdiet.com/Healthhygiene.htm And keep the questions coming!! I know how much there is to learn, and how overwhelming it all is in the beginning.
