Guest guest
An interesting aside to the whole bone density thang........if you're a guy, testosterone supplementation not only zips up your social life, it makes your bones more dense. Also, weight-bearing exercise helps a lot. Of all my tests, I passed my dexascan with flying colors and my calcium supplementation had been less than stellar. Guest guest
Well, I am mildly osteopenic ( T = -1.0) for my spine. Hips and wrist OK. I do weight-bearing exercise (quite a bit), and I take about 2000 mg of Calcium (as citrate) + more than 1200 mg Vit D daily. Will re-(DEXA)scan later this year to see if things have improved. --Steve (age 63) At 8:55 AM -0400 6/28/03, fbayuk@... wrote: >For some reason men are less likely to have a bone problem.
