Guest guest
Well, you are probably right! But,, Mobic definitely should be added to the no-no list. The doc prescribed it for my daughter, saying it wouldn't hurt her pouch...ugh...Makes me mad! Yes..I had to get off Vioxx pre-op...and have had to tough it out too. My pre-op drugs of choice were Vioxx, Excedrin Extra strength and Ibuprofen. That is very hard to not do. My doc forgets this...and gets weird about prescribing pain meds for me....the last go around I had with her was over Fioricet. I didn't even realize it had a seditive of some sort in it. I just thought it was tylenol, and caffiene! She was uncomfortable prescribing them for me...and yet I get migraines. After I told her I would just take Excedrin then, and leave the stomach bleed to her....she prescribed it. Oh well. Regards~ Jacque > Now, I am on nothing, and just deal with it. Point is that he told me Mobic > was an older drug but very effective in certain patients and was 50 times > more cautious about Mobic than a -2. I am not sure but I thought there > were only a couple of drugs in the -2 class approved by the FDA, with > Bextra being the latest.
