Guest guest
Has anyone else run up against doctors who don't believe in helmets or bands? I've now seen 2 that don't buy into them, but said they would write me a prescription if it would make me feel better! I'm taking my baby to Cranial Technologies, and both docs said that they would tell me he needs a helmet, but that there is no proof that babies actually get better with a helmet/band vs. on their own. Guest guest
Look thru the before and after pics to SEE the results! :-) CT does free evals so it's nothing to take your baby in and get an eval just to see how "off" your babies head is and if a band would even be needed. OH - And it is ALL to common for drs to poo-poo the notion of plagio/banding. I had to fight to get my dd a band - she actually ended up with 2 - We used Hanger. Keep being your babys voice!!! HTH! Jen Mom to Luli - 3 yrs old Torticollis, Plagio, Syringomyelia Dr. says research doesn't prove helmets work Has anyone else run up against doctors who don't believe in helmets or bands?
