It sounds like you may have a bladder infection, call your doctor's office.

Make a list of what questions you want to ask and go through them with the

nurse, or make an appointment to get something to clear up the problem.

Sorry to hear your having problems Tammy.

I don't think 5 days of problems is a big deal because our bodies

are constantly going through lots of changes for the first year or

so after surgery BUT if you think you have an infection you really

should call your doctor. I know fluids are really important for

bladder infections. Have you been getting your water in? Also,

vitamins can build up in your system over time so you might want to

check with your nutrionist on the supplements you are taking to see

if they are causing the constipation. Have you been keeping a food

diary. That can really help if you have gas/constipation, etc to

look back and see if you changed something you were eating. I use

fitday.com to keep track of my eating and its a free website and its

great for keeping track of the protein you get in and also you can

look at a graph showing your weightloss which is encouraging.
