Hi everyone im not sure if ive got the right forum to post on, Im

already a member on other tmj sites. My names Judy im 53 and from

the uk.I feel very selfconsious about my lopsided face. I am

waiting to have double custom made jaw replacements put in but they

will not make my face straight. I hate going out and have gone from

a very outgoing person to a bit of a recluse with no confidence. I

noticed that some of you have had ops to correct your receeding

jawlines etc and would love your advice about what I should or could

do just to make me feel normal again. I get so depressed, its not

vanity I got the opposite to that Hope to hear from you soon thanks

judy.

I just had bilateral custom tmj joint replacements. I also had assymetry. My Dr

put the joints in and then at a later date I had a Lefort I osteotomy. I am 7

weeks post op from that surgery. It is unbelieveable the difference that it has

made in my face. Not too mention, I am feeling much better.
