Guest guest
I just wanted to share our potty success story. About 2 months ago after Sam's incidents w/ OJ and fearful that I may eventually lose my precious day care setting. I started to be more thoughtful about how we had been trying to potty train Sam. Before school let out she was definitely more interested in using the potty but in the summer break and problem w/ OJ we lost interest. I started to play the " once a Upon a Potty " video at least twice a day. Luckily all my kids loved and it became a frequently requested video. I just thought repetition was the answer and since Sam was such a visual learner. Sam started to self initiate going to the potty. She still refused any request to go sit on potty. Eventually she would go all during day care. Then she would go all during home! Now she will go during school. She is even traveliing in underwear! I still reserve pull-ups for naps ( if I am lucky enough for her to take one and bedtime) Since the weekend, we have had one accident because she had runny stool x3 and we missed the last one:( Just wanted to share and encourage others to keep on keeping on!
