Guest guest
Hi, I have thought about the kid's meal option too, but I have noticed that the options available on the kid's menu are not really what I want to eat. Usually hot dogs...mac & cheese or pizza.....chicken nuggets etc. They seem to be those high carb & fat sorts of things. So I order a normal meal and bring it home. It makes a nice extra meal or two at home. O'Connell Haverhill Ma Open RNY 2/7/02 Pre op weight:248 Now:
Guest guest
Hi guys! I was wondering if any of you got those kid's meal cards from your doctors. There are many times that I would like to order from the kid's menu without having to go through a long explanation and I've heard that some docs give out cards. If you have one, would you please email me or post what it says? Do restaurant's accept them? What do you say to the waiter? Curiously yours, Jennell
Guest guest
I was in SouPlantation the other day (what a change -- pre-op I would have laughed at the idea -- which is why I needed the RNY), and wound up paying full price $10 or so, for a plate full of salad and an iced tea. I talked to the manager who said if I could produce a card showing I'd had the RNY, they'd give me kid's price, which is about $4 and change. Now--to find the card. UCLA, where I had the surgery, used to give them out, but I haven't had contact with anybody there for a few years.... /john Re: kid's meal > In a message dated 5/2/2003 6:01:58 PM Eastern Standard Time, > brzezinski4@... writes: > > > No kids meal for me unless it is Mcs, One time tried ordering a kids > > meal at the Outback, I got the kids steak and it was like Burnt leather i > > swear, it did not even hold a flicker to my hubbys steak!! Guest guest
I got this and a couple of other links, so now I have no excuse for writing my doc's name, laminating and diving into a good salad. (Diving into a good salad -- still can't get used to that) Thanks, /john RE: kid's meal > > >> Now--to find the card.
