Guest guest
In the beginning, I didn't go much either. I think the longest I went without a BM was 4 or 5 days. When I have flares I don't go either, C, gas, bloating, inflammation and pain were my main symptoms. It seemed for me like when I would take Magnesium Citrate that I would have a BM but then wouldn't go for days. I think it made my symptoms C symptoms worse so I stopped all products and starting having BMs again. Infrequent ones but I didn't feel so stopped up off the supplements. The caffeine in coffee will sometimes help me have a BM if you haven't tried that. I eat prunes every day now. Most of the time I'll have 1 BM a day, but I've been in a bit of a flare since December (I ate an illegal piece of bread pudding) and have been very irregular since. For breakfast I eat 1 egg white and 1 full egg mixed with 1/2 babana (sometimes mashed squash). For evertything else I either eat soup I make with very cooked carrots/zucchin (maybe a small bit of very very cooked broccoli crown) OR I puree veggies and meat and add a couple eggs and then bake. I feel like I eat all day long and can't believe I can be hungry without going to the bathroom for days. Today is day 3 of Milk of Mag and it's not working. Maybe I need 2 doses today. I'm getting worried that I can't go. I drink at least 2 liters of water a day. Should I pull everything but the broth and water for a couple days until the Milk of Mag works? I don't hurt which is good but why can't I go? I have horrid gas but is that a product of irritation or the fact that I'm probably eating a pound or 2 of carrtos. Also, yesterday and today I ate 1 apple mixed with 6 > prunes cooked until mushy. Any suggestions? > > Thanks, > michelle >
Guest guest
Hi , Bananas really constipate me. I could put one in a batch of 18 muffins and it would still constipate me. Try eliminating it. You could try miralax for a while to get you going. It is sold over the counter and is quite safe. It doesn’t taste anything either and you can mix it in any liquid. Eat as many well cooked vegetables as you can. GERDS and chronic C. SCD 22 mths Not going-What's wrong? Ok, Maybe I'm just doing something completely wrong. I don't eat lactose, sugar, or grains.
