They can also be symptoms of reactive hypoglycemia, where your blood sugar

drops abnormally low. Mine has gone down as low as 36 a couple times. If you

have/had diabetes, you probably have a home glucose meter and can test your

blood

sugar when you're feeling this way. Anything below 70 is considered low. The

best way to avoid hypoglycemic episodes is to eat several small meals a day

instead of 3 larger ones. And to treat an episode, eat some protein along with a

bit of carbohydrate.
