Guest guest
I found an absolutely wonderful coconut cookie at the Hong Kong Market last night. I was wondering if anyone else had experience with it. They were in a clear plastic jar with a red lid. The 10 oz of cookies were titles Coconut Cookies (Banh Gai Dua) a product of Vietnam with the following ingredients: tapioca, coconut, sugar, and water. They look like short breadsticks with little spikes, and taste like the coconut cookies found in metal tins around Christmas time. I allowed my 3 children to eat two cookies after supper, but they had EnZymAid with the meal. I am hesitant to send any to school or to give them to the kids without enzymes. , 7 yrs, still has terrible regressions in skills and seizures (lasting for about 2 months) following infractions. I am thankful that there have only been 2 infractions in the last 2 years. Any info would be greatly appreciated. (mommy to 3 on the diet for 2 years) PS Thanks for the tootsie roll recipe!! Guest guest
I've given these to my son before (no enzymes), and he didn't have any reaction to them. They are very good. Of course, we are new into the diet (6 months casein free, 1 1/2 months gluten free), although he is starting to (I think) have reactions to some gluten-containing items.
