join this group. It is for us who are prego or trying to get prego after GBS.

You will be fine, there are alot of us who have gotten prego right after

surgery or within the first year. I am 31 weeks pregnant right now and am 18

months postop and doing great. Many, many on my group are way less than that

postop

and doing fine. Just make sure to take ALL your vitamins, get yourself 800

mcg of folic acid and take that, and have your ob give you a prenantal vitamin

too. also make sure you keep taking your calcium, iron and b-12's. Eat as well

as you can and try to stay away from all the junk cravings, lol...You will be

fine : )

Hey Everyone, It has been a long time since I have had any questions

but I am full of them now. I found out I am pregnant. I am now 5

weeks pregnant. I had a RYN Gastric Bypass on Sept 24th, 2004 and am

doing great. My doctor suggested that I not get pregnant till 12-16

months out and I was on the pill and I go in thinking I had a

Bladder infection and came out having a baby.

Although I am really excited for this much wanted miracle I am

scared. Has anyone been pregnant shortly after your surgery and what

did the doctors recommend.

Help! Advice Needed!
