Guest guest
My mom made this earlier this month, and it was really good. Even my dad liked it (I was certain he would hate it). We subbed shrimp for crab on one occasion, and that was good as well. Crab Quiche 6 oz. crab 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar 1/2 cup shredded zucchini 1/3 cup chopped green onion (we subbed 1/4 tsp. of onion powder) 6 eggs 12 oz. yogurt 3/4 tsp ground mustard (we omitted this as well) 1/2 tsp salt 1. Mix crab, cheese, zucchini, and onion; press into a 9 " pan (greased) 2. Combine eggs and remaining ingredients; pour in " crust " 3. Bake at 400F 25-30 minutes, let stand for 10 minutes

Guest guest
Where did you get the crab? Out of frozen crab legs? Also, it says pour in the "crust" but i'm assuming whatever dish you are using is the "crust" and there really isn't a crust correct?-UC - 1+ yearsSCD - 7 months 100% strict and 4 months restricted diet.Asacol - 5 pills a dayTo: BTVC-SCD From: joannaultman@...Date: Mon, 1 Feb 2010 01:40:41 +0000Subject: Re: Crab Quiche recipe This looks amazing- I can't wait to try it! Guest guest
We got the crab from the meat counter (I think it was king crab) at the grocery store (Sprouts). We don't have a Whole Foods, but I imagine it's very similar to Sprouts, so look there (if you have one, that is). The " crust " is just the mixture that you press down in the pan first (crab, cheese, zucchini, onion). Pour the egg/yogurt mixture on top of it. Guest guest
Do you think tuna or even chicken could be substituted for the crab?
