Has anyone had a TOMOGRAM?

Just curious if anyone has had a tomogram done? My os is setting one

up for me, did not really understand the necessity, basically because

she needed to see the depth of whatever bone I have left in my mouth.

What I was curious about was how much it costs? My insurance covers

50% so I am assuming it is $$$$. Any advice would help. Thanks!
