WHY would they tell you to give up gum?? i would so be at a lost if i had to

give up my gum, its the ONLY thing keeping me from losing my sanity!!! I gave

up smoking, i gave up drinking i gave up food...i am NOT going to give up my

gum lol

I was told to give up gum because my stomach would not be able to digest the

mass and since my stomach was now emptying into my small intestine I could

experience severe pain until the gum passed.

Like said before, I as an adult have never swallowed gum. Do people do that

after they grow up?
