Guest guest
Of course, Zulu. I would hope that anybody, and everybody, approaching any medical/dental problem (and probably a lot of others, too!) on the internet would realize that someone who is expertly trained and experienced and certified is the first and best source of information. It is true that sometimes experts disagree, and I think the best advice, when one gets conflicting opinions, is to seek even more. And more information. And your doc is always your most reliable source of help. He knows your mouth, and he knows his field -- at least if he's properly trained, experienced and certified, and most are. Guest guest
Agreed agreed agreed! I think the value in these forums is that we are learning what other people have experienced while going through similar procedures. Education is a wonderful thing. > > I think we need to be cognizant of the fact that we're not surgeons > or even orthodontists... > > Seek advice and opinions from certified professionals.... > > I understand that many here are just trying to help like any decent > human being, but advice and recommendations should be left to > professionals who look at all the information. > > Each situation is UNIQUE and should be addressed by certified > professionals.... having said that, even professionals will have > varying opinions, but they are the experts... > > This may seem clear to most of us, but sometimes newbies may be more > influenced by our opinions and " experiences " than they should be.... > > ALL our experiences are valid, but this should only supplement > advice and recommendations by certified professionals.
