Guest guest
never heard of honey allowed Alyssa ??You're right, I take that back. I was doing some research on manuka honey the other day, and since it's made from tea tree flowers, it has strong antifungal/antibacterial properties. I thought I read that it helped with yeast, but I think that might've been if you topically apply it to the site of infection, which you can't really do with your intestines. I just looked up 'manuka honey and candida' and there were others wondering if it would help also, but I think the general consensus was that the antifungal properties aren't strong enough to counteract the sugar that could feed the yeast. Sorry for the confusion, I should've researched more before posting!! Peace =)Alyssa 15 yoUC April 2008, dx Sept 2008SCD June 2009 (restarted)Chinese Herbs (not legal but helping!)
