Guest guest
Well after spending the night awake in and in excruciating pain, called my ob/gyn this morning and he got me right in. Told me that from the time he saw me about three weeks ago until today, my uterus has increased in size from what he said feeling like the size of a woman who is 12 weeks pregnant to 15 weeks pregnant. Apparently I don't have fibroids I have what is called adenomyoses. Instead of having individual fibroid tumors growing on my uterus, my uterus is increasing in size, sort of like blowing up a balloon. The cyst on my ovary has gotten bigger and apparently that was causing all the pain last evening. Was up until 6 am. Doc wants to do the partial hysterectomy within the next two weeks, but told him I couldn't. My son is graduating from grade school and is set to get three awards for scholastic achievement and I have my class that will end on the 26th of June. Going to try and schedule me for the week of 7/7. He said that if the pain gets worse or if I start to hemorrhage, he can always get me in on an emergency basis. Would rather not do it that way, but just can't miss my son's graduation. Tim has the following week off and then he is taking the kids to Lake to go camping the week of 7/20. I should be well enough to be on my own by then. Also have very good friends that said they will check in on me and such. Just so damn weary right now. Tired of not feeling well, tired of bleeding all the time, tired of feeling like I'm pregnant. Thanks for listening. Just trying to adjust to the reaction of my doctor this morning this morning while he was doing the exam. A month ago, he felt it wasn't an emergency thing and we could let it go for two months and obtain a new sonogram. He told me he has never seen this kind of growth in such a short period of time. Lucky me, I set yet another record. Wish it could be in a more normal category like long distance running or yodeling. Thanks again for being there. Just feeling very weepy right now and had to write. Hope everyone else is doing well. Regina
