Guest guest
I asked my husband and he says there is no lactose in soy milk, whether purchased or made yourself (we just bought a soymilk maker and it works great!). Rice milk and other nut milks should be the same. I've just about given up cow's milk except for the little bit I use at work in my tea since they don't supply soy. Maybe I should bring my own! I really like the way soy milk brings out the nutty flavour in my granola cereal. > > Really?? Ensure has milk in it though, doesn't it? Guest guest
ohh, i love soy and granola! the only cereal i eat is that or Mueseli (sp?) with soy milk. i do not drink milk- eew our bodies are not designed to digest and process milk after the age of 7 or 8 and especially not cow's milk. there is no lactose in soy (or any grain/nut) milk! what i have been using since the surgery to blend with is lactose free milk. i find that soy milk changes the taste of alot of foods in a negative way (although sometimes also positive) so the lactose free milk really comes in handy. gina BTW i dont know about soy milk being okay for a clear liquid diet- it seems that its not a clear liquid but that may not be a problem. ask you OS to make sure. > > > > Really??
