Guest guest
Dear Colleagues, CDC has been working during the past few months to ensure that information on the H1N1 virus gets to organizations that serve migrant and seasonal farmworkers in the U.S., and considerable progress has been made in identifying service providers that work with these populations. However, we also need to ensure that we have adequate coverage of urban-based, non-farmworker migrant workers. It may be that the service providers included in CDC's processes to date for disseminating information on H1N1 also provide services to urban-based migrants, but we want to be sure that we do not miss other organizations that provide health-related and other services to these individuals and their families. I am asking for your help. If you know of and/or collaborate with organizations that provide services to urban-based migrant workers, please send me as much of the following information as you can: 1. The organization's name and location 2. The name of a contact person(s) and his or her telephone and/or e-mail address If you have any questions about this request, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thanks in advance for your assistance. Tom M.
