Guest guest
I have a big blue KitchenAid from Costco, a gift 4-6 years ago, and never regretted owning it (except when I fantasize about baking gfcf professionally, in which case I would need an NSF rated mixer.) But it is hard to pour things into it while it is running (unless you use the pouring shield) and, if I am not mistaken, the one you bought is fatter and shorter, and therefore has more clearance for pouring stuff into it. Now you can double and triple recipes, and put the extra in the freezer, which makes life a lot easier. In other words, I don't think you will regret this, even though a smaller one would have had enough power for gfcf breads. Lorilyn
