Guest guest
regarding: Date: Sat, 05 Jul 2003 14:27:33 -0000 Subject: Snacks I would like some feedback on what ya'll eat for snacks/mini-meals. I will share with you some of the things I do. , I do eat similar snacks to what you said. I also snack on soy bean " nuts " . I get them at a Giant. I haven't seen them anywhere else, but I " m sure other places carry them. They have them with sea salt, unsalted, BBQ flavored and some other varieties, too, that I don't remember. I like to take a bag of the sea salt ones and a bag of the unsalted ones and mix them to give the unsalted ones a little flavor and spread that salt out a bit. The soy beans have 14 grams of protein in 1/4 C. as compared to 7 grams in 1/4 C. of peanuts and 4 grams of protein in 1/4 C. of Macadamia nuts. Of course, I like the macadamia's best (sigh), but I do keep the soybeans on hand and TRY to snack on them. I make up small snack bags of them and put them in the console of the car so if I'm driving a distance (my grandchildren are 2 hours away) I will munch on them and not be tempted to stop when Mc calls to me as I drive by. :-) For meals, I like fish, crabmeat, shrimp, tuna, in addition to the meats you mentioned. Guest guest
Okay Tina.....my one problem with this recipe, and why I haven't tried it yet, is how much is THREE QUARTS of popcorn? I have no idea. If it said one bag of micro popcorn...then I'd understand....but don't understand quarts of popcorn anymore than I understand centimeters in bypasses.
